All about my wooden bracelets
Are the wooden bracelets adjustable?
Yes. The bracelets have an extension chain that allows them to be adjusted to the wrist. The dimensions vary according to the creations: some models are shorter, while others offer a wider adjustment range.
The exact adjustment range is indicated on each product page so that you can check that it matches your wrist.
Is your wrist size not among the proposed dimensions? Simply indicate your measurement in the "Special instructions concerning the order" section. I can adjust the length of the bracelet upon request.
How to properly adjust your wooden bracelet?
A bracelet should be snug enough to sit comfortably around the wrist, but without being tight. Ideally, there should be a little room for movement so that it remains comfortable to wear throughout the day.
For models with a central wooden piece, such as round, square, heart, or leopard bracelets, a good fit also helps the pattern to remain naturally positioned on the top of the wrist.
Are wooden bracelets lightweight?
Yes. As with earrings, wood is naturally lightweight. Even when the wooden piece is more prominent, it adds very little weight to the bracelet.
Combined with a thin gold or silver stainless steel chain, wood thus makes it possible to create a lightweight and comfortable bracelet for everyday wear.
Does a wooden bracelet stand up to everyday wear?
Yes. The bracelet is naturally the most exposed piece of jewelry: hand washing, rubbing against sleeves, slight contact with water... The varnished wood is protected to withstand these daily actions, so you don't need to remove your bracelet at the slightest splash.
To preserve its finish for as long as possible, it is simply best to remove it during prolonged contact with water, such as showering, washing dishes, swimming in a pool or the sea, and to avoid significant impacts, as wood remains a natural material.
Over time and with wear, the wood may subtly evolve and develop a patina. And if, after several years, your bracelet needs refreshing, I can sand it and refinish it free of charge to restore its brilliance.
Can you pair a wooden bracelet with other jewelry?
Yes. A wooden bracelet can be worn alone or paired with a watch, a bangle, or other thin bracelets.
Certain shapes are also found in several of my creations. For example, you can pair a square bracelet with square earrings, or find the heart motif on different pieces of jewelry. Choosing the same wood species or the same gold or silver finish also helps create a cohesive set without necessarily wearing a perfectly identical parure.
