I've always loved understanding, learning, and creating with my hands. It's this curiosity that, at 23, prompted me to spend several years exploring the world. Every country, every encounter, and every project reinforced my desire to follow my intuition, choose meaningful paths, and build a life aligned with my values.

In Australia, I discovered woodworking while fitting out my van. This first project revealed a true passion and led me to train as a cabinetmaker as soon as I returned to France.

After two years of apprenticeship, I earned my diploma. My journey then led me to the restoration of antique furniture, where I discovered the richness of wood species, traditional techniques, and the pleasure of preserving objects that span generations. While working on these pieces, I also noticed all the valuable wood scraps that remained unused. It became clear: they, too, deserved to continue their story.

This is how Racines Artisanat was born. I chose this name because it echoes the roots of trees, the origin of each species I work with, but also my family roots. I never had the chance to know my grandfather, a carpenter-cabinetmaker. Yet, the furniture he had made accompanied my childhood, and, in retrospect, I like to think that's where my passion for wood began to take root.

Today, I transform these revalued precious woods into unique pieces, with the desire to convey their history, to showcase the beauty of this living material, and to contribute, in my own way, to keeping artisanal craftsmanship alive.
